In the lesson on Thursday we planned the weeks running up to our final piece. We made phone calls to our actors to ensure wen they are free to shoot, and planned the days to come. We started our storyboard and filled in the risk assessment. Things are beginning to fall into place and our project is coming together nicely. I plan to look for locations this weekend.
After looking for locations, i decided which places would be best suited for certain parts of the opening sequence. I have been thinking about the different techniques we can use to great different effects with the cameras. I thought we could try my GoPro on the front on my bike or helmet to show the chase between Charlotte and Josh. Different shots through the wood will create an effect which shows the different points of view for both characters, which will let the viewer know how they both feel different about running through the woods. For example Josh is tired, out of breath and stumbling, however Charlotte is enjoying the moment. There will be different music to set the mood in which they feel when cutting from shot to shot.
