practice shots

This the first establishing shot and it gives the viewer more of a knowledge of whats happening. It also sets the scene and gives you and idea of where.

This is a close up shot. It gives the effect that what she is reading is important. 

This is a low angle/tilt shot. This shot shows that she is powerful for a second before the school overwhelms her.

Extreme close up. The ECU shows that the paper is important to the story, it is also featured in all the shots before so it shows you what she is looking at.

Shot/reverse shot. This shot shows a conversation between two people and how they are discussing the paper. It shows the emotions on a persons face whilst the other is talking.

Shot/reverse shot. This is the same shot  however the other way around. It shows the other persons emotions.

Tilt shot. This shot creates tension and makes the audience question what is happening.

Extreme long shot. The ELS shows the ending of the images and makes the viewer feel its ending as she is walking away form the camera.

These photo sets include different types of shots such as establishing shot, close up, lower angle/tilt shot, extreme close up, shot/reverse shot, tilt shot and extreme long shot. The story behind the shots is that there is a young girl starting a new school and it her first day and she's struggling to find her way around.
